Hello Nutmeg! 👋

My Mum adopted our cat Cherry from the RSPCA 14 years ago. He was settled within minutes of arriving! 😂 Straight onto the sofa, curled up asleep. And this was with him having ended up at the RSPCA after being hit by a car and having to have his tail removed! And we had another cat! He didn't care one bit. Very happy, bolshy little cat is now a very happy, bolshy old cat. 🐈‍⬛

Oh my goodness, hello Nutmeg. What a beauty and how wonderful that you've given her a lovely new home and life.

We adopted our cat Victor two and a bit years ago. I'm still taken aback daily by how much he's stolen my heart. He is just too adorable and funny. We weren't even fussed about cats before and now we are fully signed up obsessive cat parents and cat meme sharers.

Cats are so much fun! How long did Victor (great name btw) take to settle?

Hmm that's a good question. There were a few weeks of him hiding under and behind furniture. But he'd let us stroke him and interact with him from his hidey holes. Then a slow, gradual building of trust. Lots of lovely milestones. Like the first time he came out without being coaxed. The first time he sat with us whilst watching telly. The first time he let visitors stroke him etc. We also don't know what his first 18 months of life entailed, bless him. I hope Nutmeg feels safer and more loved every day.

She’s gorgeous! Can’t ever go wrong with a brown tabby 😍. We have two cats - one formerly feral and the other we got from the shelter...pure magic and we love them to pieces. Enjoy your new friend 🥰
