Self everything update

Hey you, yes you. Are you tired?

Me too.

I’ll make this a quick update;

• My rewrite is going well if not slowly. I’ve been sick this week and it put me on the back foot. Along with the imminent school holidays, time feels like it’s slipping away.

• Progress has been made with the cover design of the next book. It took me ages, but this time, I wrote a proper brief for my designer. Four whole pages. I’m excited to see what she’ll come up with.

• I filled my creative cup up recently by attending a life drawing event. It was just what I needed. I used to do a lot of drawing from life (the human body) and I was happy to see I’ve not lost the knack.

• It is both my books’ birthdays next month so look out for the celebrations!

• Finally, also in April, it will be one year since I started using Substack (the platform I use to send these letters) so I may write a bit about it. If you have any questions, do let me know.
