Hey there!

If you’d rather read than listen;
I finally sent off my novel to my editor, so I can stop working on it for a while. Helpfully, my brain has thought of things that I should’ve fixed before sending it, thanks brain!
A cover artist is my next job for this book, if you know anyone who might fit the bill let me know. The genre is eco-horror, because that is my jam.
I’m finishing my story for the Poe anthology this week. It was fully funded on Kickstarter recently, so big thanks if you’ve helped with that.
Essay Camp has filled my mornings since sending my book off and has been a refuge in between chasing suppliers and builders.
offers this mini-course on her Substack and I’ve enjoyed writing nonfiction as a break from my novel. I’ll be working on these essays and I’m sure some will be posted here on Substack in the future.
This week’s photo is of Billy, looking worried about yet more stuff being moved around the house.
What a cutie Billy is!
